Enrollment Process
We’re excited to guide you through the admission process! First, please visit the school, get the application form and submit it at our office. Once we review your application, we’ll invite both parents for a personal meeting, which includes a counselling session on a scheduled day. During this session, you’ll learn all about the Montessori system of education and its practical benefits. Afterward, we’ll take you on a tour of the environment where your child will experience Montessori learning firsthand. After the tour, you can make the important decision about enrolling your child at Prodigy. If you choose us, congratulations! We’re thrilled to be part of your child’s educational journey. Lastly, you can pay the required fee to admit or reserve (depending on your child’s age) a place in our environment. Welcome to the Prodigy family!

FAQ
Montessori education indeed leaves a profound mark on a child’s educational journey by engaging all five senses, thus facilitating a deep and immersive learning experience. Unlike traditional approaches, where students passively listen, read, or write, Montessori fosters active involvement in learning. Children are empowered to freely choose their learning activities throughout the day, granting them autonomy to explore and discover the environment independently. This freedom allows them to learn at their own pace, fostering confidence and self-reliance as they practice and master skills on their own. Such an approach ignites a genuine passion for learning, leading to heightened concentration, motivation, and self-discipline. Furthermore, by organizing classes into mixed-age groups like 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12, Montessori naturally encourages older students to mentor and share their knowledge with younger peers, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Indeed, Montessori learning stands in stark contrast to traditional educational systems, offering a holistic approach that nurtures not only academic growth but also social and emotional development.
knowledge from books alone isn’t enough for success in life. We need holistic development, especially for children, to thrive in all aspects. Research studies have consistently shown that Montessori education provides this comprehensive preparation for later life. Montessori children excel academically, socially, and emotionally. They not only perform well on standardized tests but also demonstrate above-average abilities in areas such as following directions, meeting deadlines, active listening, and using basic skills. Moreover, Montessori children exhibit qualities like responsibility, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. They are adept at asking thought-provoking questions, making decisions, and displaying strong values. Most importantly, they are resilient and adaptable, ready to face new challenges with confidence. In essence, Montessori education goes beyond academic excellence; it fosters a well-rounded development that equips children with the skills and qualities needed for success in all aspects of life.
Montessori children thrive in an environment of freedom within structure. While they have the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace, this freedom is carefully curated within the prepared environment. Teachers play a crucial role in setting up the environment for optimal learning experiences. Within this framework, children are empowered to make choices about their learning path. There’s a method to their learning, with children actively participating in setting learning goals and managing their time and resources effectively. This approach instills a sense of responsibility and independence in children, allowing them to flourish within the boundaries of the prepared environment.
While students in Montessori classrooms have the freedom to progress at their own pace, they are far from navigating this journey alone. The Montessori teacher serves as a steadfast guide, closely monitoring each child’s progress and offering tailored materials and activities that build upon their existing skills and knowledge. This personalized approach not only facilitates mastery of current challenges but also safeguards against premature advancement, a common pitfall in traditional education systems. It’s this continuous guidance and support from the educator that ensures children remain on track and engaged in their learning pursuits, ultimately empowering them to flourish without fear of falling behind
An integrated approach in education means combining different subjects to help students learn better. In Montessori schools, they do this a lot. They teach the same basic things as other schools, like math, science, history, geography, and language. But they don’t teach them separately. Instead, they show how these subjects are connected. This helps students understand the world better. They learn to think critically and solve problems. In Montessori classrooms, students explore these connections through fun activities and real-life examples. This makes learning more exciting and helps students become curious about the world around them. By using this integrated approach, Montessori schools prepare students to keep learning and be confident in facing challenges in the future.
In the Montessori approach, we believe that true motivation comes from within. Unlike external rewards like grades, which have little lasting impact on a child’s efforts, Montessori nurtures the innate desire to learn that resides within each child. By fostering self-motivation, our students become self-sufficient learners who don’t rely on external validation. While our teachers are always available to offer guidance and support, we focus on empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey. Although we don’t assign grades, we closely monitor each student’s progress and readiness to move on to new challenges. Through regular family conferences, parents have the opportunity to witness their child’s growth and hear firsthand about their achievements and self-assessments. In the Montessori classroom, every child is encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential, driven by their own intrinsic motivation.
